The Founder Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I was excited to see an unseen AI movie; why had I not heard of it before? Oh, the low ratings. The initial attack did not give much hope. Imagine feeling no pain - would you use a blowtorch to remove a mosquito? Assuming no infection, why would you want to destroy the sensors in that part of your body? Uncontrolled fires, dangerous radiation, rodents chewing through cables - there are many reasons you would not want to destroy infrastructure and sanitation, even if you don't need it. I turned off the movie when the AI started searching for "Aurora", the last stand of humanity after 97 years of machine rule. Let's imagine you are a young man with a new bride who is scared of ants. Let's give the ants a chance and make them smart. Do you believe there would be an ant colony remaining in her new home for any period? Quote
